About
I was born in America and raised by a single mother. That upbringing set the terms for everything that came after — self-reliance, a long view, and a habit of doing the unglamorous work before the interesting work shows up.
I graduated from California State University, Northridge in 2014 and started my career in healthcare consulting and management. I worked with pharmacy benefit managers and independent pharmacies, and consulted on managed services for major California health plans, including Blue Cross and HealthNet. It was an education in complex systems, regulated environments, and the gap between how an organization is supposed to work and how it actually works.
From there I moved into technology, focusing on application development and technology management. Today I lead Glencore Associates and AIDiscover, and I write about what I learn along the way.
